    DESCRIPTION

If you need to rent an excavator today that will provide optimal performance and productivity for your construction project, then a Komatsu PC138 with hydraulic thumb is a great choice. At an operating weight of 13,480kg (29,720 lb.), the powerful turbocharged engine provides 68 kW 92 hp (net). Rent a Komatsu PC138 at our guaranteed lowest rental rates and enjoy quality and professional work by hiring an operator from Rent1. If you need to rent a slightly larger excavator with a conventional tail swing then try renting the Komatsu PC200LC-8.

With a maximum digging depth of 18’0” and digging reach of 27’3″, the PC138 is a versatile tool for all size commercial, residential, or industrial dirt moving, landscaping, material handling, and demolition projects. The Komatsu PC138 hydraulic excavator rental comes demolition-ready: when you rent a PC138 from Rent1, it will come equipped with full cab guarding and a hydraulic thumb. Operators will enjoy a short tail swing profile, designed specifically for construction projects in confined areas. By reducing the tail swing, the PC138 excavator rental is perfect for your projects; whether on roadways, bridges, urban areas, or anywhere space is limited.

Power: The turbocharged and air-to-air aftercooled Komatsu SAA4D95LE-6 engine provides 68 kW 92 hp (net). This high-performance machine has a ground-level lift capacity (3.0m) of 5,990kg (13,200 lb.), making it easy for operators to load heavy construction equipment, large rocks, sand, or gravel into dump trucks.

Efficiency: This excavator engine is EPA Tier 4 and EU stage emissions certified, without sacrificing power or machine productivity. With a low-emission engine, you’ll save costs on fuel and increase productivity with less refills needed.

Visibility: The right side window pillar has been removed and the rear pillar reshaped to provide improved visibility, increasing productivity and safety—vital when operating heavy equipment for your construction and earthmoving projects. A skylight window can be opened for improved overhead visibility.

Versatile: With multiple attachment options including heavy duty buckets, ditch cleaning buckets, and hammer attachments, the Komatsu PC138 excavator is an extremely flexible construction tool.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    Q. What kind of insurance do I need for my excavator rental?

Heavy equipment insurance is required on all rental products, no matter where they come from. Get a hold of your insurance provider and let them know you need heavy equipment insurance, which is sometimes called contractor equipment insurance, or fleet-truck insurance. Tell them that you’re renting a Komatsu PC138 and let them know how long you’re renting it for. They will likely be able to create a policy for you right away, or they can usually recommend a heavy equipment insurance provider in your area.

    Q. What should I do when I receive my rental?

As soon as your rental is delivered, we recommend taking photos of the exterior and cab for your records. Check out our tutorial video on how to take these photos before you start operating your equipment.

    Q. How do I end my rental?

It’s very simple. As soon as you’re done with your Komatsu PC138 rental, call or text one of our administrators at 604-359-6057 to close your rental period. Make sure that you’ve refilled the fuel gauge to the same amount it was at prior to your usage, and that the machinery is clean and free from any compiled residue from your previous job. Lastly, take the same pictures as you did before your rental and send them over to us to confirm that everything is in the same condition. Then, just leave the keys out of sight or under the mat so that one of our staff members can pick up the equipment.

We provide quick delivery on all skid steer rentals, excavator and mini-excavator rentals, and compact track loader rentals throughout Texas. See our delivery rates and our daily, weekly, and monthly rental rates for more details.
